야고보서(James) 3:10-12

10  한 입에서 찬송과 저주가 나오는도다 

내 형제들아 이것이 마땅하지 아니하니라

From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. 

My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 

11 샘이 한 구멍으로 어찌 단 물과 쓴 물을 내겠느냐

Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 

12 내 형제들아 어찌 무화과나무가 감람 열매를, 

포도나무가 무화과를 맺겠느냐 

이와 같이 짠 물이 단 물을 내지 못하느니라

Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? 

Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.
